Avro Aircraft Limited has produced many great aircraft.  The C-102 Jetliner was built in the late 1940's, and was first flown on August 10th, 1949.  It was the World's First Regional Jet, and the first to fly in North America.   There is also the CF-100 Canuck, widely known for its performance in the RCAF. And of course, there is the CF-105 Arrow. Built in the late 1950's, it was first flown on March 21, 1958, and ultimately destroyed on "Black Friday", February 20th, 1959.
